The city of rainbow mountains
Zanjan is located in the mountainous area of Iran which makes the hot season in this province short and moderate. Zanjan's tough winters make it one of the best destinations for winter sports, especially for ski lovers. Aside from the natural sites like Katalehkhur cave and ,Mahneshan rainbow mountains, Zanjan is known for the biggest turquoise dome in the Soltaniye mosque.
