Exciting trekking from Lohar, the highest village in the region to Nandal, the nearest village to Damavand Peak, all on a route which is over 2300 meters above sea level, could it be even better? On the first day of this tour, we will reach the Nandal countryside after 2 hours walking in the middle of the beautiful lush forests of Mazandaran. This village gives the best view of Damavand mountain through the lush plains. We won't miss the chance of camping on this stunning hills and enjoy the very fair and fine weather and picturesque scenes.

Due to its vicinity to Damavand, Nandel is one of the best and in fact, the main routes to climb Mt. Damavand, and many mountaineers come to this village for this purpose. Many local people here, are engaged in taking tourists to Damavand peak. The locals are hardworking people and most of them are athletes. Nandel is a pristine and rare experience.

Day 1

Lohar countryside

The countryside is always a great place to spend time and have fun. Iran has great countryside that used for Nomads in the past. Today the people build a house in the countryside to spend their holidays there. Our tour starts towards the Lohar countryside (157 km, 03:00) in 2,000 m height and 4 hours hiking there. This countryside with Damavand Mt. view is one of the great places to relax. Also, there are lots of mountains with 4,000 m height so it’s a great time for professional photographers to take photos. Next, we have our lunch box in nature and rest for a while and continue to camp zone and overnight under a starry sky at the tent and sit around the fire to listen to guide’s stories about Damavand Mt.

Day 2

Intensive hiking

After having breakfast near the Damavand Mt. We will walk in the Nandel countryside and take photos of its special plants and forests. Have you ever experienced hiking in intensive forests and analyzed the nature of that? Our local guide will explain all to you. After this great walk, we will continue to Tehran en route have lunch in a restaurant.
